As an infrastructure engineer, your role with entail architecting and deploying cloud and on-premise infrastructure used to train our machine learning models, automating configuration and workflows, performance analysis and creating dashboards and tools to make our infrastructure easy to operate and scale. You will also likely be involved in developing code and data pipelines, setting up and automating workloads running in virtual and containerized environments.
Your role will include understanding engineer and researcher challenges and their context, interfacing with vendors, solution architects and partners with whom we collaborate.
The ideal candidate should have experience designing, building and scaling production systems.
The candidate must be an expert system administrator with strong scripting skills and have a good working knowledge of computer architecture, compute, storage, networking and security best practices.
The ideal candidate should have conceptual understanding and hands-on experience with cloud services like AWS and GCP, virtualization and containers.
Experience with automation, provisioning and configuration management systems (e.g. Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, etc), code versioning systems (e.g. Git) would be useful.
Experience with open-source projects, high performance systems, SaaS products is a plus. This role does not require machine learning background, but some exposure and interest in the field would be preferred.
The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, be a good communicator and have the ability to take ownership of complex systems and drive it to the next level.
